Who we are

Mattimeo Tools (“we”, “us”) operates mattimeo.net and publishes Mattimeo Browser.

What this site collects

This site is static HTML. We do not load analytics, advertising or social pixels, and we do not set cookies.

• Server logs: our web server records standard access logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, time) for security and reliability. They are not used for advertising or profiling.
• Future checkout: when a payment provider is connected, it will process payment data under its own privacy policy. We will update this page before any paid checkout is enabled.

Mattimeo Browser

• Your browsing history, bookmarks, settings and downloads list are stored only on your PC. Private windows keep nothing after the last private window closes.
• No telemetry is sent. Optional anonymous reports are off by default and only sent if you turn them on.
• If update checks are on, the browser asks our update server whether a new version exists. That request appears in our standard server logs like any other web request.
• Websites you visit, and the search engine you choose, receive data under their own policies. The built-in shield reduces, but cannot fully prevent, tracking by those sites.

Your choices

You can turn off update checks and optional reports in the browser's Settings, and clear local data at any time. A contact form is coming to this site soon; we'll add a direct way to reach us here when it launches.

Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change, and material changes will be noted on this page.
